Coeur d’Alene firm pursues international growth mission with Idaho Gov. Otter
COEUR d’ALENE, Idaho — A Coeur d’Alene-based company is teaming up with Gov. Butch Otter and other state officials to promote its exclusive products during an 18-day multi-country trade mission to Asia this October.
Otter met with Oxyfresh officials this week at its corporate headquarters to learn about the company’s products, business philosophies and international growth strategies. A big advocate of international commerce, Gov. Otter works with the Department of Commerce to assist Idaho-based companies seeking to expand internationally.
Oxyfresh Vice President of Finance and Operations Steve Wood has been working to align Oxyfresh with several Department of Commerce offices in multiple countries where Oxyfresh has an interest in making its products available. Oxyfresh’s international growth mission is to make its products available in homes around the world.
This October, Wood will travel to Asia with Gov. Otter on a multi-country trade mission to Hong Kong and Macau China; Tapei, Taiwan; and Ho Chi Minh City, (Saigon) Vietnam.
By learning more about Oxyfresh, Gov. Otter will be able to more readily explain to potential business partners who Oxyfresh is and what the company is all about. This will allow the governor to “recommend” Oxyfresh” to those countries where it appears to be a good match.
