A 12-month, double-blind clinical study compared Oxyfresh Fresh Breath Lemon Mint Mouthwash and Toothpaste to conventional store brands. The study looked at the long-term results of plaque reduction, bleeding index, strengthening gingival tissue, and reducing the bacteria that lead to halitosis and periodontal disease, in conjunction with periodontal treatment.
The results showed that the Oxygene® and zinc combination in Oxyfresh’s toothpaste and mouthwash delivered a 76% improvement in the gingival index compared to 70% demonstrated by the conventional brands, and 79% plaque reduction compared to 71% by the conventional brands.
