Dental problems are one of the most common problems vets encounter with cats. Many conditions can be prevented with good dental hygiene. It is prudent for cat owners to keep a regular check of their cat's mouth & seek veterinary attention if they notice anything wrong. Gingivitis: Gingivitis is a general term for inflammation of the gums (gingiva). It may be one tooth, or may be widespread affecting numerous teeth.
