Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring seamless order management, efficient shipment preparation, and streamlined communication with warehouses and shipping vendors. The ideal candidate will also perform analytics on freight lines and process flows to optimize operations and provide key reports on order status and logistics performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Order Processing
    • Perform daily duties for the complete lifecycle of orders, from initial placement to final delivery, ensuring accurate and on-time fulfillment
    • Coordinate with multiple customers and shipping vendors to ensure seamless delivery and on-time fulfillment.
  2. Vendor & Warehouse Communication
    • Coordinate with suppliers, shipping partners, and internal teams to maintain efficient logistics operations.
    • Maintain and expand existing freight relationships
    • Determine cost effective freight solutions and service levels for customer orders and supply chain incoming orders
  3. Inventory Support
    • Help the team in areas of inventory monitoring to ensure customer needs are met
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure inventory and deliveries meet project or operational requirements.
  4. Record Keeping & Reporting
    • Maintain organized and detailed records of orders, invoices, shipping documents, and other logistics-related data.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports on order status, shipment progress, and logistics performance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience in order processing, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in inventory management and logistics software (e.g., ERP or warehouse management systems).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with suppliers, shipping partners, and internal teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail and results-driven approach.
