Oxyfresh Receives Top Honors For Its Economic Contribution

COEUR d’ALENE, Idaho — Community business leaders awarded Coeur d’Alene-based Oxyfresh Worldwide Inc. Tuesday for the significant economic impact the company has on the community.

The Greater Coeur d’Alene Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business Development Committee presented Oxyfresh President Richard Brooke with its Impact Award, the Chamber’s top business award that is given to a company that stimulates economic vitality locally — even though it could run its business from anywhere.

“Oxyfresh has an economic impact of millions of dollars each year in this community,” said Anne Hagman, chairwoman of the Chamber’s Business Development Committee. “The company and its nearly 40 employees support community projects like the 4th of July fireworks, the North Idaho Centennial Trail, Coeur d’Alene Triathlon, Kootenai County Humane Society and the Coeur d’Alene Lakeshore Property Owners Association.”

Mr. Brooke said Oxyfresh places a heavy emphasis on civic leadership. “Oxyfresh sales leaders live and work around the world,” he said. “We based our corporate office in Coeur d’Alene for many reasons … the natural beauty, healthy business climate and especially the great people who make this community their home.”
