Oxyfresh supports Operation Smile
|
In July 2008, Oxyfresh partnered with Operation Smile and for several months we contributed 15 percent of all Breath Spray sales to the organization. Operation Smile is a Norfolk, Virginia-based medical charity dedicated to repairing childhood facial deformities. Founded in 1982, Operation Smile has provided free surgeries to more than 115,000 children and young adults in the United States and abroad.
“Our partnership with Operation Smile was an exciting and rewarding way for Oxyfresh to support those health care professionals who are dedicated to restoring the smiles and lives of those less fortunate,” said Oxyfresh President Richard Brooke.

Operation Smile volunteers show off their Oxyfresh Dental Kits at a Medical Conference and Volunteer Reception.
Thousands of medical volunteers make dreams come true for children suffering from facial deformities. Volunteers like Stuart Sheer, DDS, an Oxyfresh Executive Director from Cockeysville, Maryland. As a former Operation Smile volunteer, Dr. Sheer participated in missions in Philippines, Nicaragua, Venezuela and China.
“Operation Smile isn’t just about restoring smiles, it’s about saving the emotional child in others and renewing the spirit within ourselves,” Dr. Sheer said.
Shannon Donovan, Resource Development Coordinator for Operation Smile, applauded Oxyfresh for its devotion to the medical charity. “Working with Oxyfresh has been an exceptional experience. It has been especially delightful to discover how giving Oxyfresh is in helping children,” Donovan said.
