About Me

My Pict
Dental problems are one of the most common problems vets encounter with cats. Many conditions can be prevented with good dental hygiene. It is prudent for cat owners to keep a regular check of their cat's mouth & seek veterinary attention if they notice anything wrong. Things to look for include; bad breath (this is one of the most common symptoms of a dental problem) drooling, lumps or bumps, red and inflamed or bleeding gums, reluctance to eat.....especially hard foods, and reluctance to groom.

Some common dental problems cats encounter include;

Gingivitis: Gingivitis is a general term for inflammation of the gums (gingiva). It may be one tooth, or may be widespread affecting numerous teeth. Gingivitis is the mildest form of periodontal disease. Infection and inflammation spreads from the gums to the ligaments and bone that support the teeth. Left untreated, loss of support causes the teeth to become loose and eventually fall out. Symptoms include bad breath, drooling, red or swollen gums, gums which bleed easily. Signs of gingivitis such as a build up of tartar, red & inflamed gums, bad breath. Full mouth x-rays may be recommended to determine the extent of the disease. This depends on how far advanced the gingivitis is. Early cases of gingivitis which haven't progressed far may possibly be treated at home with regular dental cleaning. If addressed immediately, gingivitis is reversible, if it is left to progress to periodontal disease, damage is irreversible.

Bacteria in the plaque can irritate the gums, which in turn stimulates an inflammatory response, it is a combination of toxins released by the bacteria, and the inflammatory response which causes destruction of the supportive structures (gingiva, alveolar bone, cementum & periodontal ligament). Gums separate from the teeth, forming pockets (spaces between the teeth and gums) that become infected.

That's why using the Pet Oral Hygiene Solution with Oxygene® is the most effective remedy that helps stop pet bad breath! And more importantly, the microorganisms that cause bad breath and periodontal disease can actually shorten your dog's or cat's lifespan.

Just a capful of Oxyfresh Pet Oral Hygiene Solution with Oxygene® in your pet's water bowl daily will help with the bacteria that causes bad breath! It is Non-toxic and safe. Help your pet live a longer, and a healthier life by slowing the progression of periodontal disease.

Recent Testimonials

“I have had several procedures done on my knees after years of professional country dancing. I have suffered from pain for many years and have just learned to live with it. I started taking Oxyfresh Joint Remedy with Soy SproutPlex and before I knew it, I could get out of bed without feeling the normal pain I dread every morning. I am amazed and thankful!”

"I've been using the OxyCare for many years, and when I first started using it I had deep pockets. My pockets are completely gone now. I can't go a day without using my OxyCare 3000!"

"My large dog has bad hips and doesn't move well. This causes a skin condition that the Pet Gel works wonders on. It works better than any other product my veterinarian has recommended."

My 14-year-old dog has been taking the Pet Antioxidant wafers for the past 6 months and I definitely notice an improvement in his mobility. He's limping much less and just seems to be feeling better. And thanks to Oxyfresh, each time he visits the groomer she compliments how healthy and clean his teeth and gums are.
